Grass was cut by inmates wearing orange jumpsuits. A mop leaned against the back door of a cathedral as Easter lilies were carried inside. Bronze statues of legendary football and baseball players were installed for a new walk of fame.

The line “I don't want a love that holds us back” played on the radio as a couple ordered two blackberry teas. A question was asked: What would I think about this decision when I’m 80?
