On This Day
April 17, 2025
On This Day, there was a poem: “A secret, like spring buried in February’s field.”
Euros were bought for a trip. A coffee shop increased prices because their prices increased. Trees were burned for more houses. Dirt dauber nests and cobwebs were knocked down in a barn.
Bunny ears were worn at Walmart, and T-shirts read: “I like my Jesus like I like my sourdough: risen ,” and “Spoiler alert: the tomb was empty.”
A Lord's table and sanctuary were stripped during a Maundy Thursday service. A cross and altar were covered with black cloth, and a Christ candle was carried from a sanctuary.
All on this day.
